Captured here is a large response for a medical call at an aquatic centre right next to New Westminster fire hall no. 1. The call for Squad 1 (medic) initially went out as a collapse, but was soon upgraded to a full cardiac arrest, requiring more units to respond to the scene. BC Ambulance Service quickly arrived with a basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) ambulance, as well as a supervisor. New Westminster Fire & Rescue Services Engine 1 was also called to the scene to assist. After some time one patient was transported to hospital in an unknown condition. Great job, and lots of respect to all the first responders and emergency services!
